"How do I book a boudoir photoshoot?" | Atlanta Boudoir Photographer

Boudoir photoshoots are already intimidating to think about, but listen, you first have to BOOK your boudoir session in order to think about planning it. I’m here to help you with that first hurdle… BOOKING. This post should tell you everything you need to know about the process of booking your boudoir shoot!

The first step of booking your boudoir session is to find your boudoir photographer! Here in Atlanta there are some AMAZING and incredible photographers. If you love us but find that we don’t really check all of your boxes then we can act like a great second-date and introduce you to our friends that you might like better. No hard feelings; let’s all come out of this better than ever!

  1. The second step of booking your boudoir session (if you’re booking with us, I cannot speak for any of our above friends) is to choose the session you’d like! We have our full session pricing list right here. Our pricing sheet is set up like a Chipotle menu, but the results are way sexier and involves less beans. If you have any questions or need clarity then don’t hesitate to ask questions before moving to the third step!

  2. The third step to booking your boudoir photoshoot is to select your date and time! Once you’ve decided on the boudoir session that best works for you use our online booking calendar to select your date. From there you’ll be asked to add any additional items to your session, but please know that our options are limited. If you’d like for us to find a peacock for a series of images then I’m afraid you’ll be on your own… though I’ll gladly photograph the peacock.

  3. The fourth (and final!) step in booking your boudoir session is to pay your deposit! Our sessions require a deposit of 25% of your session fee. Payments are all made online using credit/debit cards, but you can pay your last payments in cash if you choose. So many of our clients are hiding payments and so we get it!

And there you have it! It’s a simple four-step process that takes all of about 4minutes if you know what you’re looking for (maybe 8 minutes if you’re coming into it completely blind). Once your session is booked we will welcome you into our arms with love and FUN mail. Each client gets a welcome box from us that is full of pampering goodies, boudoir session info, and some discount cards for local lingerie shops. We want to make sure you’re well taken care of and we want to make sure you have fun from the start. You’ll get entirely too many emails from us about directions to the studio, what kind of snacks you want at your session and what to wear for your boudoir session. These can be ignored, but we definitely prefer you look at them at least once :)

We cannot wait to have you!!!

Here's the deal on keeping your boudoir images private | Atlanta Boudoir photography

Your boudoir images are really the very definition of "sensitive material", and we totally understand. We have a variety of privacy options for our clients so that each boudoir session can be done without any question of how your images will be seen.

Honestly I'm a bit surprised that we don't get MORE questions about our privacy policy when it comes to boudoir images! I'm flattered of course that our clients are coming into their sessions ready to share their images with the world. However, for those that have a few more reservations about their images being seen we've got a few options for owning your digitals in confidence.

When you book a boudoir session with OWN boudoir, whether you're coming in to our Atlanta studio or we're coming to you, we sign a contract to set the expectations for the shoot! Our standard contract outlines what is included in your session, any additional fees, the location for the session, etc. It also lets you know just how your images will or won't be used. For our standard contract (the one that goes out to everyone, unless you ask specifically for a different one) your photos are shareable ONLY if they are anonymous.

Anonymous photos by OWN's definition are those photos that don't include any full faces, personal tattoos (like those that say your name or anyone's name), company logos, or very specific physical traits (example: birthmarks, prosthetics, etc).

Most of our clients choose this contract for their shoot because they WANT to show their images off, but want to make sure their high-school students, work friends, or nosy relatives don't have a conniption.

For clients that would like to make sure that there are no photos shared ever ever ever everrrrrrrrr, we have a version of our contract that is so creatively titled as the "Non-Sharing" contract. When we sign this together and OWN waives the right to share any of your images from your session, no matter how anonymous they are. We can even go a step further and opt-out of back your files up to the cloud or sending you a downloadable gallery.

What if you don't mind sharing all of your boudoir images with our future clients? We ask for a written statement saying that you give permission for us to use your images. This way all of us are on the same page (and also so that I don't have a panic attack trying to make sure that I'm following your preferences).

While these three options for your images are what is pretty standard here at OWN boudoir, if you have a specific request or question about your boudoir images then let's talk! Creating your perfect boudoir session can't happen unless we talk!

The bottom line is that you have full control over how, when, and where your boudoir images are visible.

Send us all of your demands,

Sarah
