White sheets are sometimes all you need! | Atlanta boudoir

Shopping for lingerie can be so intimidating, and even if you find something you REALLY love… it can be difficult to feel like yourself. While boudoir sessions typically are full of lingerie, sometimes keeping your boudoir wardrobe as simple as possible is really all you need.

Enter: a white sheet!

I love the look of a white sheet for boudoir. A sheet is an incredible tool to hide areas that you aren’t necessarily in love with, create classic images, and make sure there is variety in your boudoir wardrobe.

Here is one of my most recent favorite boudoir images that uses a white sheet! I love the mirror reflection, too! I’ve actually had this mirror in every single boudoir studio I’ve ever had ;)

A little Monday love for all of you... | Atlanta Boudoir Photographer

I'm currently writing this blog post from the comfort of my sofa, a place in which I have been uncomfortable all day long due to a a series of poor decisions that ultimately led to me eating some bad pizza last night. Cue the 3am "uh oh" feeling and fill in the blanks for yourselves.

Since I HAVE been up all day long I've had a lot of time to think about the amazing boudoir sessions I've been able to shoot over the last few months. It's so rare that I get to sit down and mentally process what I've been shooting or how I've been challenged! What I discovered, as I was using my brain to think and occasionally moan, is that every.single.client over these past few months has been creatively challenging (in a great way!) to me! You've brought in amazing props, came in with unique narratives, brought me sweet treats (so manyyyyyyy sweet treats!), and challenged me to create images of you that were your OWN.

So basically I wanted to say "Thank you!!!!" for trusting me with creating intimate portraits for you. Intimate in nature, and intimate of the soul.

My birthday is next week and so I think I'll be especially reflective in the coming days.

Love y'all,

Sarah
